Gotta love it!

This is one of my all time favorite activities. My daughter and I tend to spend a lot of time here when we go to Sea World San Antonio. Today, for the first time EVER in all the times we've gone here, they had a buy one get one free special for the fish trays to feed the dolphins. (They now cost $5 per tray. 4 or 5 fish per tray.) They've never before even had a coupon for a discount, so we were pretty thrilled. Since it's been so long since we've been here, they didn't remember us like they always have in the past. But this guy still enjoyed a good rub.

I haven't done the treadmill the past couple of days, but I have walked my legs off at Sea World! ;-)

Oh, that looks like so much fun! I've never even seen a dolphin in person, let alone be able to touch one.

That is so amazing! I went to sea world a long time ago when I was a child. I would have loved to do something like that. what fun!

When I was 23 my mom and I took a trip to South America to recover from my Dad's passing away... we stopped in a small ocean village along the way and took a dip in the ocean. A dolphin was playing in the distance and a bunch of local kids were standing on the beach pointing and waving. I was watching for a minute but then he disappeared. A minute later he was right under me... then he came back and nudged my hip. The third time around I got the courage up to grab on to his top fin and he took me for a ride.. when I let go I thought for sure he would not come back.. but he did.. only close enough to pop his head out of the water and 'squeak' at me. His way of saying goodbye I guess... they say that dolphins can sense depression and illness... what do you think?

Anyway, I thought I would share that story with you.. have a fantastic trip and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Dolphins are amazing animals. A pod of them recently surrounded a surfer who'd been attacked by a shark. They ran the shark off and surrounded him until he got back to shore. They've also been known to be extra gentle when around special needs kids. So sensing depression and illness is totally possible.

This afternoon there were a couple of males who were, um, giving the kiddies a show! Kisa and I had quite the good giggle over it.
