Enough!

Dang! Another day with rain, hail, lightning and thunder. EVERY day lately! Just getting a little old. Hope the weather is a little better in Denver. My kids went to Elitch Gardens today. It's a Six Flags park. (Edit later: my daughter called to check on me and said they had twisters overhead a few times and they were herded into buildings on one occasion! Sheesh! Glad they are all OK. I was very surprised to hear that she was quite calm about it. Wind usually puts her into a panic attack.)

The good part about rain - the rainbows!

I'm starting to find health blogs amusing in a certain way. Many of them have photographs of what they ate and many more TALK about what they ate. Some of them talk about what they USED to binge on. And what do all those photos and words do? THEY MAKE YOU HUNGRY! So I'm thinking I should limit my time of reading them to only when I've already eaten a good meal or while I'm eating. :-)

I feel the exact same way. A lot of days I won't even visit blogs because I know they talk or post photos of food. Sorry, but that just makes me think about eating and I clearly already do that enough. Its annoying, even though I know it helps some people. Oh well!

Guilty! ;)

I'm with Mary. If it's a food post, I immediately exit. I have food issues though, so I'm trying to not think about it all the time. Food posts, even when I'm not hungry, are never good for me!

Me too!! I really can't look at pictures of food, but nowadays so many people post about food I've gotten a little used to it :>

But when I'm hungry I really can't be looking at pictures of low-cal cake and brownies that I don't have before me cuz it'd lead to something disastrous!!

I agree - I blog, but not about food. We have enough issues with food that I don't always need to see a picture of a fabulous dish I probably won't ever make!

I love your writing, and the rainbow picture was inspiring, but didn't want to make me eat! (Whereas before I lost my weight, I might have eaten to celebrate the rainbow!!)

I can't post pictures of anything. I can't figure my new photo saving "stuff" out, so I'm off the hook in that regard. But I have to admit, I kinda like some of the ideas for healthy items I get by looking at the pictures.

I do remember taking the kids to Elich Gardens when we visited my sister in law in Denver. The kids loved it.

And, who doesn't love a rainbow. Too bad they usually appear after a rain or a storm.

wow, your rainbow so beats my rainbow. At least the way it was captured in my photo...if I would have been home when it first popped up, we would at least have a tie.

I am not often tempted by the food on blogs, but I find it somewhat boring. I'm often amazed at the total junk people eat and expect to lose weight and gain health. Just because it says low-fat or sugar-free on it, doesn't make it a health food!

Wow, awesome picture! We've been having the same deal - rain, rain and more rain. Depressing!
I hear you on the food blogs. I try not to post too much food, although I do mention foods that I have a run in with once in a while. I also post a snacky Saturday once in a while, just to share my thoughts on foods I find interesting.

Lol @ your food blog comment!

And I hope the weather clears up soon.

I like going to healthy food blogs for ideas, but not everyday. And yeah, I post my food journal too.

Oooh, I've only seen a double rainbow once--beautiful!

I would take pictures of my food, but folks would get tired of seeing tuna salad and turkey sandwiches all the time. :)

I know exactly what you mean!! I try not to post photos or talk about what I had unless it was something extraordinarily good and healthy. I usually read blogs when I'm already snacking on something.

Awesome photo of the double rainbow!!
