Healthy You Challenge

I've got to rest for a few days since they did biopsies yesterday during my upper endoscopy. I still feel a little weird. Just tired, I think. My hiney is a little sore from bike riding, too. I should probably take Denise Austin's advice and get some padded shorts! ;-)

Overview for June and the exercise challenge:
Total minutes of cardio - 951 (Goal was 400 minutes, so I think I rocked!) :-D
Number of buns & thighs workouts - 12 (Goal was 3 per week, total of 12 - MET!)
Number of upper body & abs workouts - 7
Days of exercise - 25

Take it easy & rest, you'll be up & about soon. Maybe I should get some padded shorts too, I'll get that rounded bottom look one way or the other! LOL!

You have done well throughout June!

You need to get plenty rest now after your biopsy.

Hugs to you xx

Yo mama - thanks for coming by my blog. You are ROCKING on your goals - good for you! I find that even if I blow it on the food part, if I still do the exercise, I tend not to feel so bad about myself and can easily get it together to make good food choices going forward. Sounds like you are enjoying the exercise, too, which is WAY important, in my book. Have a great week!

I have a nice comfy seat on my bike--don't really want extra padding on the bum!

Your numbers look pretty good too! I really found that seeing them listed there along with my calendar really helped to visualize how far I've come.

Have a terrific start to your July!

You have done SOOOO much when looking at those monthly totals, despite all the health worries you have had to think about and deal with as well.

You rock!

Wishing all turns out well on yur tests!

I used to wear padded shorts when I rode my bike in the mountains years ago(lol). I highly recommend them! You will not believe the difference they make!

LOL..I just imagined myself in padded shorts!! My arse is already huge...I can't even imagine!!

Maybe try a padded seat. I used to do that when I tried spinning. I would just bring it with me to class...it really helps!! You can usually find them in any sports store. =)

For those of you who mentioned padded bike seats, I DO have a gel pad that I added to the seat on the bike. My butt still hurts! So I'm going to the bike store nearby to check out the padded shorts! You would think as much padding as I have, it wouldn't bother me, but my butt bone pokes right through my fat and the padding on the bike seat for some reason! ;-)

Great job on your monthly goals!

After my recent surgery, the doc suggested I get a piece of foam to tuck into my panties if I want to ride the bike. I don't think so! :) Until I heal completely, I'm sticking to the treadmill and elliptical machines.

Great job on your June exercise - awesome. Thanks for sharing your pictures too.
