One other health note

In the ct scan they did at the ER, it was notated that "Possible 1-cm nodule within the left lobe of the thryoid versus imaging artifact." Now there's a whole lot of things in the radiology report that we didn't quite understand so my hubby started looking things up on the internet. They said nodules in the thyroid can cause hypo- or hyperthyroidism, SO, am wondering if that could be part of the reason behind my failure to lose????? I have a follow-up app't on Friday and I'm going to take the report in and ask LOTS of questions.

Thanks to everyone for the kind comments on my weigh in post. Ya'll are wonderful! :-)

Take the report to your chiropractor. There are supplements to help with thyroid problems. There's also a new book by Anita Renfroe called "It's Probably Just My Thyroid". A funny book...not really meant to help with health issues. ;-)

I have a lot of nodules on my thyroid (which is enlarged - goiter). Get a blood test for your antibodies T3 not just the TSH test. Lots of people have the autoimmune thyroid disease Hashimotos Thyroiditis but your TSH will come out normal, hence the reason for the other blood tests.
