Glad Mother's Day is over. It's been hard, seeing all the displays in stores and hearing the radio and TV adverts.
We went out to eat twice on Saturday to celebrate our daughter's last weekend at home with us. She gets the keys to her new apartment on Tuesday! For lunch, I had a California Fritatta at Rosie's Diner. We had a late dinner at Chili's. I ordered the half-size chicken quesadillas with a side salad. Rather bland meal, I must say. Just ate half of the quesadillas. Also drank a frozen strawberry margarita.
Had mini-meals today. Didn't want to go out anywhere, so we stayed at home. Hubby and the kids got me a beautiful cross necklace. They seemed to understand my need to lay low today.
I've done the ultimate abs workout every day this weekend, but no cardio.

For a lot of people out there Mothers' Day is one of the worst days of the year...
Have a great week!
and it's amazing that before I was a mom I thought it was only those who were childless who didnt love the holiday----Oh How I Didnt Get It!
it's monday -- thank goodness :)
I thought about you several times throughout the day, knowing how difficult it would be for you. I had no doubt you would survive it, but I knew it would be difficult, at best. Knowing your Mom is at peace will see you through the days ahead.
I agree with Hanlie...but your Mom is resting I'm sure. I’m sorry it was so hard for you. Sending you a HUGE hug :-) They always make me feel better
I just recently found you blog, so I didn't know. But I am so sorry. Glad you family understands and I hope the days ahead are filled with happiness as your mother would want them to be.
