Another week over

This week, I spent most of my time helping my daughter and organizing stuff here at our house as well. So I didn't get "official" exercise in, but was definitely active. Did the stairs multiple times here and at her apartment. And my back is definitely feeling the strain from lifting stuff. After helping carry in an armoir, one of hubby's friends said "Wow, strong woman. (My wife) never would be able to do that." :-D

OK, need an amendment here. It wasn't a huge, solid wood armoire. It's pressed board, so enough of the Hercules talk. LOL And I definitely count the moving stuff as valid activity. :-)

I've been doing pretty well with the food choices other than the full sleeve of Ritz crackers I ate after staying up waaaay too late one night. :-P

what is it about the waytoolate which makes us all have poor food choices?!
we had a little of that around here last night.
husband got home at midnight after 9 days away.
I HAD to wait up :) and, you know, who can stay up that late alone? :)

Any activity is better than sitting on your but and doing nothing. It sounds like you got quit the workout in helping your daughter move. I have had trouble snacking too much late at night also.

Lifting and carrying stuff and going up and down stairs definitely counts as exercise! Just call it "functional fitness" and that makes it official.

And that's so cool that friends are noticing how strong you are!

Give yourself a pass on the Ritz blitz and focus on the future. You're doing great!

So you had several step classes and weightlifting sessions via the moving! I think that is even better than "official" exercise!

What a great NSV! That is a great commpliment!

YOu definately got your quota! Exercise definately doens't have to be jogging/gym/etc.! What better way to kill two with one.

Oh man ... I do love Ritz and (in the old days) a sleeve was NOTHING! :) It sounds like you got in lots of unofficial exercise (but it still counts in my book).

It is a well-established fact that Ritz crackers are a certified tool of Satan. Especially if there's pineapple cream cheese within striking distance. :)

Hope things settle down for you soon!

Ritz crackers are cryptonite!! And Wow! You have to be quite strong to lift an armoire!!
