Weigh in for Sizzling Hot 4 Summer Challenge

Maintaining the 181 weight from Monday. So down 6 pounds for the challenge. I'll take it! :-)

My abs are killing me from that ultimate abs ball workout! We did an hour of intermediate waltz last night and I was feeling every one of those muscles!

Here's a message from Denise Austin:
Put Your Thirst First!
Who doesn't love sugary drinks? I definitely do! Soft drinks, sweetened coffee drinks, and some fruit juices might not seem like much when you're drinking them, but they can add hundreds of calories to your diet — and your waistline! The diet versions are a little better, but only a little. They're still crammed with sodium and chemicals. Their sweet taste can even trigger cravings for other sweets!

Remember that you can have a can of soda or your favorite latte! Just be sure to consider these drinks as treats and not an everyday part of your eating plan. To quench your thirst, try herbal tea, seltzer flavored with lemon or lime, or the most sensible drink of all — refreshing water!

That's the beauty of sore abs - every movement is agony! Just goes to show how much we actually use them...

Building the core takes the longest, but stabilizes us the most.

GOOD for you!!

Way to go. Pretty soon those gorgeous abs will be worth all the pain.

Congrats on the loss! That workout sounds awesome. Thanks for the thirst tip. I never even thought of seltzer! Since the fizz is the main draw for me in sodas, this may work for me.

Good job working on your core!

Sparkpeople had a similar article this week on sugary drinks...amazing how bad they are for you and how the calories add up quick!

I am so glad I love H2o. I do like a diet soda every once in a while. I have never tried seltzer, maybe I will.

My daughter was making me do ab exercises last night. Felt them this morning.

Great post, thanks

You're doing SO well. Way to go on kicking it in the challenge. And ... for working out hard enough to feel it. Hurts good, huh!?

I needed to start that DRINKS AS TREATS thing a year or so ago as I was up to a LOT of diet cokes a day :)

I made myself match one bottle of that with a bottle of water...worked as I peed all the time I decided the DC wasnt worth it.

I actually crave water now, which actually kinda shocks me. :)

Way to go with the maintenance! I use to get a little irritated at Denise Austin's voice for some reason, but she really has great advise! she has matured so gracefully.

I am dealing with sore quads. I am just getting started with the squats and such, and the motion of sitting down in a chair makes me whimper!

You're so skinny already, of course your weight loss won't be as easy as mine. All I have to do is lift up one arm and wham bam, I lost 4 pounds LOL

I am learning how to drink nothing but water :) but I find that I am able to use the restroom when I drink my coffee in the morning (too much information eh?) hey it works :)

Keep up the fabulous work!
